Assist the photographer
Ensure your guests are welcomed and provided with a reception drink
Confirm presents are safely displayed
Organise and conduct the 'receiving line'
( guests individually introduced to the hostess )
Escort parents to table
Formally announce the bride and
Bridegroom into the reception
Offer grace if required
Organise and conduct the cutting of the cake
( sword supplied on request )
Formally announce speeches
Produce flowers/presents at the right moment
Speak of wedding customs if required
Retire Bride and Bridegroom from table
